Spring Mountain Wellness at Wellspring Mountain

Spring Mountain Wellness provides short-term residential educational programs (4–90 days) for people navigating personal disaster, crisis, or profound disruption. Set on a peaceful mountain campus, our licensed resident-camp environment offers structured learning, nature-based activities, and hands-on skill-building to help participants regain stability and reclaim their capacity to move forward.

Why This Work Matters

When crisis hits and derails our lives and sense of safety and stability—a sudden loss, burnout, trauma, displacement, or the collapse of daily structure—people often fall into a gap between systems. They don’t need hospitalization, but they also can’t return to “normal life” alone. Shelters, clinics, and social services aren’t built for the kind of quiet recovery people need after such events.

  • Restorative: grounded, calm, and connected to nature
  • Empowerment-focused: participants maintain autonomy and responsibility
  • Community-based: rooted in dignity and mutual support
  • Cost-effective: delivering meaningful outcomes without clinical overhead

What We Provide

Our program includes:

  • Educational activities such as group learning, skills workshops, and practical routines
  • Nature-based and recreational programming to help regulate the nervous system
  • Supportive community spaces for connection without stigma
  • Safe, licensed facilities, including a permitted camp kitchen and teaching kitchens
  • Art supplies and musical instruments for self-directed emotional processing and release through artistic expression

Our Program Model

Spring Mountain Wellness operates as a short-term educational retreat rather than a clinical or residential treatment facility. Participants engage as capable adults managing their own daily needs—preparing meals, maintaining personal care routines, managing any medications, and coordinating any outside services they may need. We provide the space, structure, and educational programming; participants bring their agency and self-direction.

Our program focuses on education, skills development, and structured daily rhythm rather than clinical treatment or social services. The time-limited format (4–90 days) is designed for people who need a structured pause to regain their footing, rather than for those requiring ongoing clinical support or long-term housing.
